Tags
Create, edit, and delete color-coded tags to organize your conversations.
Tags
Tags let you classify and organize your conversations in the inbox. Each tag has a name, an internal identifier (slug), and a color for quick visual identification.
What tags are for
Tags are useful for:
- Classifying leads by stage: new, qualified, visit scheduled, closed.
- Marking priority: VIP, urgent, follow-up pending.
- Filtering conversations in the inbox to focus on a specific group.
- Organizing by interest type: rental, sale, new project.
Tag limit
The maximum number of tags depends on your current plan. At the top of the page you will see an indicator like: 5 of 20 tags used.
Creating a tag
At the bottom of the page, you will see the Add tag form (it only appears if you have not reached the limit).
Type the tag name (for example, "VIP Client" or "Follow-up").
Select a color by clicking the color circle. A palette with 13 options will open.
Click Add tag. You can also press Enter.
The slug is generated automatically from the name. For example, "VIP Client" becomes vip_client. The slug is unique within your organization and cannot be changed after the tag is created.
Color palette
Trochai offers 13 predefined colors for your tags:
| Color | Name |
|---|---|
| Blue | blue |
| Red | red |
| Purple | purple |
| Yellow | yellow |
| Gray | gray |
| Emerald | emerald |
| Cyan | cyan |
| Orange | orange |
| Pink | pink |
| Indigo | indigo |
| Teal | teal |
| Amber | amber |
| Lime | lime |
Each color automatically adapts to the light and dark mode of the interface.
Changing a tag's color
- In the tag list, click the color circle to the left of the name.
- Select the new color from the palette.
- The change applies immediately.
Deleting a tag
- Click the trash icon next to the tag you want to delete.
- Confirm the deletion in the confirmation dialog.
Deleting a tag removes it from all conversations that had it assigned. This action cannot be undone.
Using tags in the inbox
Once created, tags are available in the inbox to assign to individual conversations. You can:
- Assign one or more tags to a conversation from the conversation side panel.
- Filter the inbox by tag to see only conversations with a specific tag.
Best practices
- Keep the list short: a few well-defined tags are more useful than many ambiguous ones.
- Use descriptive names: "Visit scheduled" is better than "Stage 3".
- Assign meaningful colors: use red for urgent, green for closed, blue for new leads.
- Review periodically: delete tags that are no longer used to keep the list clean.
