Edit your personal profile, avatar, public profile, theme, language, and Google Calendar.
Profile & Preferences
The Profile and Preferences pages are available to all users, regardless of role. Here you can customize your personal information and your experience using the platform.
Personal profile
Profile photo (avatar)
Your profile photo is displayed in the inbox, in internal notes, and on your public agent profile.
Click Change photo next to your current avatar.
Select an image (maximum 5 MB).
For PNG, JPG, or WebP images, a crop dialog will appear where you can adjust the square framing and zoom level (1x to 3x). SVG images are uploaded directly without cropping.
Click Save to confirm the crop. The image is uploaded automatically and displayed immediately.
If you do not upload a photo, an avatar with your initials will be shown.
Full name
Your visible name on the platform. It appears in the inbox when you reply to messages and on your public profile.
Bio
A short description about yourself as a real estate agent. This information appears on your public profile and can include your experience, specialties, or any relevant details for leads.
Zones covered
The geographic areas where you operate. Separate each zone with a comma. For example: Escazu, Santa Ana, Heredia.
This information appears on your public profile and helps leads know which areas you have experience in.
Profile URL slug
The slug is the final part of your public agent profile URL. It is automatically generated from your full name when your account is created (for example, "Juan Perez" generates the slug juan-perez). You can change it at any time.
The field shows the /a/ prefix to indicate it's a URL path. For example, if your slug is juan-perez, your public profile will be:
https://{your-organization}.trochai.com/a/juan-perezSlug rules:
- Lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only.
- Between 2 and 60 characters.
- Cannot start or end with a hyphen.
- Must be unique within your organization.
- If the slug is already in use, you will see an error message.
Your public profile URL updates in real time as you edit the slug.
Public profile link
Once you set up a slug, you will see a box with the full URL of your public profile. From there you can:
- Copy the link to the clipboard with a single click.
- Open the profile in a new tab to preview how it looks.
Saving your profile
- Modify the fields you want.
- The Save profile button activates when there are pending changes.
- Click Save profile to apply the changes.
Google Calendar
Below the profile form you will find the Google Calendar section. Here you can connect your Google account to enable automatic visit scheduling.

Preferences
The Preferences page lets you customize the visual experience and language of the platform.
Theme
Choose from three appearance options:

Language
Select your preferred interface language:

The language change applies immediately without needing to reload the page. The language preference is saved as a cookie and is maintained when switching between subdomains.
Onboarding tour
If you want to replay the guided tour that introduces Trochai's main features:
- Click Replay tour.
- The tour will reset and start on the next page load.
This is useful if you recently joined the team and want to see the explanations again, or if there are new features you are not familiar with.
Difference between Profile and Organization Settings
